Bite-sized Subway sandwiches individually wrapped

From time to time we all tend to eat too fast. Ever finish a sandwich and wonder where it all went? What if you could order a sandwich that came cut up in individual bite-sized pieces? Much like how candy bars are now sold (e.g. bite-sized Snickers, fun-sized Baby Ruth). Each sandwich piece would come in it’s own fun-sized individual wrapper. And then you just buy the entire “sandwich” in one big bag containing all the bite-sized pieces.

What I find appealing about this is the choice you would then have about which part of the sandwich you might be jonesing for. Do you want the mostly bread-end with barely any filling while being pleasantly toothsome? Or maybe the very center piece with more filling than bread is more to your liking at a particular moment? Even the pieces left or right of center have different taste and texture combinations. It really is a new way to enjoy your sandwich while potentially slowing down on how fast you eat it. This is one of the reasons I sometimes prefer deep-dish pizza to thin crust. You can enjoy a slice of deep-dish pizza in so many ways if you can recognize the different components: the very tip of a slice with all it’s gooey goodness; the hearty end crust with some melted cheese inside and a touch of sauce. Even the different areas of the body of the slice from the area closer to the tip to the area closer to the crust are different.

i manage a subway,so i dont see this happening, but you could order a party tray and have each 3rd of the sandwich wrapped,it depends on the manager.i dont think it would work though because the sandwich wrap paper is too big

This sounds like too much work for me!….and is it environmentally sound?

I love this idea. the longer it takes to eat something , the better. with so much effort to unwrap each piece you could become full easier and not eat as much.
