Photos from Chicago’s third largest snow storm ever. I walked around Lincoln Square the day the blizzard ended and took these photographs of the neighborhood.
nice photos, matt. I was disappointed in the Trib’s collection of blizzard photos. Yours give a better sense of the magnitude. The Trib seemed much more concerned about showing people playing in the snow. When there’s 20.2 inches of snow, I want to see cars, houses and everything else covered in snow, not a kid throwing a run-of-the-mill snowball.

Unlikelymoose, did you see any of the photos of Lake Shore Drive? Those were cool.
Stunning! There are the best pictures of the storm that I’ve seen. They deserve some serious recognition, awards, and cash prizes
yes, i saw the photos on LSD. One of the national source-things had far superior images when compared to the trib’s. It was Reuters or something.
