The comment spam should be much less of a problem now. I hacked into some code on my site and did some banning.

Odd . . . The entry about comment spam says on your main blog page that it has 5 comments, but then when I come here, there are none. Is it counting banned comments that have been blocked from view?
Never mind, now it’s fixed. When I reloaded after I left my comment, it said there was only 1 comment. Odd, very odd!
I was wondering the same thing, crissy. I was using this page to test a bunch of comments to see if the blocking worked. Then I deleted the test comments. But then that five number stayed. Maybe once you leave a comment it resets itself.
There’s alotta code to run this site (via pMachine) and so that’s why i say “hack”, because it’s going outside the standard conventions of what pMachine calls their code to do. Hence why sometimes i don’t know why the site does stuff it shouldn’t do.
