Concrete trucks on a mission

Whenever I see a concrete truck, I always imagine that it’s going somewhere on a mission to fulfill concrete needs. Someone hauling around fresh spinning concrete could never be going on a joy ride for lunch. Have you ever seen a concrete truck at a McDonalds or a diner? I bet not.

Onward concrete trucks! Good luck with your mission!

Aren’t they technically *cement* trucks, as concrete refers (I believe) to the solidified form?

Actually the truck in the picture is called a readymix concrete truck. It delivers concrete to the jobsites and the spinning drum stops it from setting up. A cement truck is actaulkly a cement tanker and it delivers the cement to the concrete plant so that it can be added to the concrete mix. Just stumbled onto this page and couldn’t resit educating you a bit

Swissy334 rocks! Cement rules. I always enjoy a nice cement statue. Here’s one right here: http://www.taliesinbookstore.com/store/product.asp?sku=10402

i love the google ads that appear. This blog posting had an ad for truckpaper.com. I did a search for cement trailers. You can buy this fine cement trailer for only $21,500. 24.5 Tires, Budd Wheels, 3 Compartments, 1000 Cubic Ft http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/forsale/detail.asp?OHID=867700&guid=09737778D9B846A1999DE79037EB0A6B Now that’s a party machine

i wish they had a cement truck with wings on Crimson Skies (the best Xbox Live game ever). Wouldn’t that be great? I should email Microsoft and suggest they add that as a downloadable plane. They do stuff like that. They add new planes every once in a while to keep the game fresh. What would be more fresh that a cement truck with wings?!

I thought mortar was concrete without rocks.
