Hey, it’s probably cos the sun was shining more on the north side than anywhere else. Notice how the south side is the darkest, where the sun wouldn’t be shining, and the west is just kinda in between? What about the east?! Why is there no east picture? Are anti-east??… Anyway, I also wanted to let you know that I did put up those extinguisher pics, so take a look at the forum on my site, and there’s a link there you’ll wanna see. You went “away” while you were online last night too early, and when I tried to let you know about it, you weren’t there. 🙁 Anyway, hope you enjoy that, and ttyl!

oh the sun! Hmmm, that makes logical sense, but i would have to agree with laura and go with aliens. I think there is some alien presense around the sears tower. Perhaps it’s protecting the tower and these colors are just representative of their existence.
There is no east camera, because that is Lake Michigan. It’s a nice view two, but if we only have three cameras work with, i think they prolly made the best decision by using the three views that have more stuff to show. But then again, I just revisited that site, and you can actually see stuff now. But they only show zoomed in things. Like the Soldier Field being reconstructed (home of the chicago bears). And that’s actually southeast of sears tower, so you actually kinda get an easterly view.
It’s a pretty sorry view looking west…Unless it’s the 4th of July…then you’re treated to an entire horizon filled with fireworks.

i wish you could control the sears tower webcam. I want to zoom in super close and watch people on the street. I’ve seen webcams that you can control. They were popular about 7 years ago. I wonder what happened to them. Musta been just a fad. There were a few ad agencies that placed controllable webcams in their workspace. It was funny.
