Swimming pool crawl in Chicago

As the Chicago Riverwalk expands, so does my excitement for this project. I already greatly enjoy walking the Riverwalk from Michigan Avenue to State Street many nights.

Now Chicago is planning on expanding the Riverwalk past State Street. A zero-surface swimming pool is one of the attractions between LaSalle to Wells. Right now they are calling it the “Swimming Hole.” It’s exciting to see downtown Chicago gaining more public swimming pools.

I can picture families hitting up the Millennium Park Crown Fountain:

Then heading over to the Swimming Hole by the Chicago River.

Then over to Navy Pier and their planned swimming pool.

And then finally to the Ohio Street beach.
