Water Beverage is good

Gatorade’s new Propel “Vitamin Enhanced Water Beverage” is completely not like what i expecting. I was thinking it was gonna be a really watered down flavor, but it wasn’t. It was quite tasty. The peach flavor is quite good.

Gatorade calling it a “water beverage” is odd for several reasons:

1) Flavored water brings to mind something that has barely any taste

2) “Water Beverage” is rather redundant.

Perhaps they are trying to cash in on the market for bottled water.

I like this stuff! I’ve tried the berry flavor. I was gonna try the peach yesterday but decided against it. I think they are really good, and according to the label, not bad for you either. I want to try the raspberry next. Definitely does the trick after a long run.

i was at a seminar downtown a year or so ago. It was lunch break and i walked down to mcdonalds. on my there, there were like 4 huge a55 coolers full of Propel. They were just introduced to the market at the time. So i grabbed one so i wouldn’t have to pay for a beverage at mickey d’s. It was very tasty. I was quite proud of myself for taking one. On my way back to the seminar, i managed to grab two more. Score! What a a great memory. Though I did have to make more pitstops in the afternoon due to all the vitamin-enriched water I was consuming.

I used to walk by and look at it and actually think it was a ” Plain Water ” yet I tried it once and I’m hooked! I think when I’m buying them at the stores I grab 3 of them at once. When I’m at Price Club, I’m buying 2 cases or so. It’s that good! Worth the extra pennies…
