While waiting for the brown line train to arrive at midnight, I counted the number of spiders waiting in their spider webs with me. 97. And that wasn’t the entire platform, there was about 25% of the area that I didn’t cover. Good thing all those spiders just sit in their webs. If they decided to gang up on someone, they could do some major damage.

whoa, good point – imagine if they decided to get off their lazy round fuzzy butts and make a coordinated effort! I’ve watched a spider in the corner of my bathroom – it hardly seemed to move for days. It must be boring .. just waiting there … watching their web. What must they think about to stop from going crazy?
the lazy spider sitting in its web for days reminds me of us humans sitting on our couches for hours without moving watching tv. Perhaps the spider is watching us like tv.
