How easy is it for someone to jack a Segway? Considering that you can run faster than the top speed of a Segway, you can’t just jack one and ride off with it.
The top speed of a Segway is 12.5 mph. How fast can an average person run? The fastest speed for the 100 meters is 9.77 seconds. That’s 22.89 mph. But that’s the fastest ANY human can run. Let’s take the 1000 meter dash. That’s a long enough race where we should get a general idea for a good sprint. The fastest 1000 meters is 2 minutes 11.96 seconds. That’s 16.9 mph. So I think if you jack a segway, the person will be able to get up and jack you back, jacker!
