Welcome to the Gapers Block readers. One of my photos was featured on the Rearview of May 22, 2007.
You can see the photo at flickr and read a nice story about my run-in with the security at the Northwestern train station while snapping this shot.
You can also buy a print at deviantart.
Congrats, nice pic!
Thanks! It looks like Gapers Block likes to pick my photos with a simple composition. On April 27, they featured “Metra train signal bridge at sunset.” A very simple layout. http://www.flickr.com/photos/spudart/464823258 http://gapersblock.com/rearview/archives/2007/04/27/
Congratulations! We’re even now. Check out some of my photos on my personal blog. Keep up the good work! What kind of camera do you use?
Thanks “Chicago 2016” (aka danatmedog)! You also have some nice photos. Yer using vox, eh? Do you have any work up on flickr? I’m using a Nikon D80 with the standard glass of Nikkor 18-135mm. I’m thinking about getting a marco lens. What equipment do you use?
The photo featured on gapersblock is a great visual contrast to your stellar hdr work found on flickr and deviantart.
Congrats! The folks at Gapers Block have obviously gotten the spud bug and check in on you daily! Look to be feautred again soon!
“spud bug”. That’s funny.
