I’d really like a four-mile long Slip-n-Slide to work. However Chicago has no hills to create Slip-n-Slides, so let’s leverage the height of the great Chicago skyscrapers. All Slip-n-Slides can start from the Sears Tower (oops I mean, Willis Tower). The Slip-n-Slides will fan out to all different sections of the city. The farthest distances would start from the very top floor of the tower. And shorter distances would start from floors beneath. That would make Willis Tower the central hub of Slip-n-Slide mass transit in Chicago.
I am excited that this Monday has uttered such sheer brilliance.

I sure hope your idea incorporates some guard rails of some sort… otherwise… terrified. But then is it really a slip-n-slide?
maybe it’s like theme park tubes.
Oops. I reposted sparx’s comment which i accidentally deleted. but then i included his email address. WOOPS. So i deleted that reposting of the comment. And now here’s the resposting again–without the email address. From: sparx Then… it wouldn’t be a slip-n-slide!
and now i reply with: close enough.
I was at a waterpark this last weekend and I gotta tell ya those tunnels where you slide head first atop a foam mat are really quite incredible. I look forward to the construction of this Willis Tower waterslide. Please keep me posted.
Dude the end of the water slides from Sears (I mean Willis) Tower should have a ramp like this sucker: http://eguiders.com/video/giant-water-slide-jump
