I tend to avoid Microsoft Word

I like plain text editors. TextWrangler is my favorite. Big bloated text editors like Microsoft Word, I try to avoid using. But my workplace uses Microsoft Word to exchange text documents. I only open up Word for these documents. And I reluctantly use Word to open the documents. I need to change my attitude about this. There is a substitute for Word called OpenOffice.org. But that’s just as bloated as Word.

Whenever I open Microsoft Word, I often think, “Wow, i was able to get this far in the day without having to open Microsoft Word.” I’d like to see a graph that shows a history with the time of day when i open up Microsoft Word.
