Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art has a fantastic selection in its book store. Going to their bookstore is just as fun as seeing their galleries. Here are six books that stood out on my recent visit.
For those who can’t view the above Amazon widget, here’s the list of books:
- Growing Stuff: An Alternative Guide to Gardening
- 101 Things I Learned in Architecture School
- The Best Creative Nonfiction (2)
- State by State: A Panoramic Portrait of America
- This Book Belongs To: Bookplates, Stickers, and Labels for the Book Lover
- Requiem for a Paper Bag: Celebrities and Civilians Tell Stories of the Best Lost, Tossed, and Found Items from Around the World (Found Anthology)

I’ve had “101 Things I Learned in Architecture School” on my amazon wishlist for a few months now. It’s a neat little book for ten bucks.
