Ask any question to the “Ask a Librarian” and the Chicago Public Library will answer your question. I’ve done this about five times now, and even if they don’t have a resource in their system, they will point you to another way to get your answer. Today I asked them the following question:
Do you have any books on why girls are so weird? My friend Calvin was asking this question today. Here’s his full question: http://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/2012/10/19
This is my goofiest question I’ve asked them yet. I hope they respond. Oh, btw for the record, I don’t think girls are weird. They are wonderful.
The “Ask a Librarian” responded! Here’s their kind suggestions:

The following books discuss gender roles which may have the answer for your friend:

So not only did they give me books tagged with “sex role,” but they also gave me books about Calvin and Hobbes. The CPL librarians are truly helpful. This one went out of his way to suggest other books I might like. Fantastic.
