A couple of days ago Vocalo.org asked, “If you invented an Olympic sport from one of your daily activities what would it be?”
My response:
CTA stair races. Both up and down the stairs. I will defeat ANYONE. BRING IT ON.
In fact, here’s a video of me running down the Brown line Western station stairs.
Which of your daily activities would you like to be an Olympic sport?
Drop it in the comments, please.
Book Cart Races. The challenge is getting a good enough start to keep you going, while lifting your feet up, and avoiding spinning out or hitting things (or people).
Chasing-after-the-bus races. Quite similar to greyhound races where they chase after that fake rabbit.
diaper changing. Though I’m not very fast. I take my time and use a lot of wipes.
Ha! Diaper changing! Question: Would the official Olympic diapers be actual dirty diapers? I picture droves of mothers (and fathers) ferociously stuffing their babies’ faces with food. That’s really funny.
yes, they must be dirty. Of course the medals would be given to not only the parents, but the baby as well. Imagine the winning baby wearing a gold medal on the medal stand? Classic.
How many steps is that?
Eliana, I’ll have to remember to count the number of steps when I go home. The number shall be reported soon.
Half of a flight? Hmm … dare I say that I bet I could beat you with the fastest time down 12 full flights? In my building. Name a date and a time ๐
Come back to the library.. I’ll race you up to the 4th floor. ๐
Where did you get those shoe?
