Less social media usage on April Fools Day?

Ever find yourself hitting the brakes on your social media scroll the second you are tricked? You’re not alone. April Fools Day transforms my usual social media dive into a no-fly zone. It sets me on edge questioning the validity of every single article that comes my way.

Does anyone else feel the same? Could it be that social media platforms witness a drop in traffic because there are more of us ducking for cover from the day’s pranks?

Although, given how culture and the internet work together, there is probably more traffic on this day. Sigh.
