After ordering a side salad at McDonalds today, I was surprised when the orderdude told me that they didn’t have any. All they put in those things are just the lettuce they use on the burgers. Why not just throw a bunch of that into a big mac box and give it to me. 🙂

Ok, I exaggerate. There are other things in the side salad. Like those little tomato grapes, other types of lettuce (not just the watery kind), carrot slivers, and grated cheese.
so they don’t sell side salads, or they were just out of them? if you want a salad, don’t go to McD’s. they probably spray them with lard or something. go to Chipotle and get a burrito bol.
They sell side salads, they just ran out. Musta been that big valentines day run at McDonalds. A Chipotle burrito has the equivalent fat to TWO BIG MACS.
depends on what you get on your burrito. and how do you know how much fat it has? they don’t publish nutritional info.
au contraire. The greens they use on the salads are different than what they put on burgers. I know because while in line once, I saw a person putting salads together.
ha! instead of ordering a side salad, I ended up getting a Big Mac, cuz i figured it had so much stuff (lettuce, tomato, etc) on there already, it would be the rough equivalent to a side salad. 😉
Correction: Big Macs do not have tomato Evil jingle stuck in my head from when I was 6: “Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun” *GAG*
I hate that evil jingle, but I abhor their new campaign. Suffice it to say, I’m not “lovin it”.
