I’m going to start a new project. I was looking at all the stamps I have and how they are unused. So I want to do a mail project. When looking at Facebook, instead of liking something on someone’s wall, I will print it out, write my comment on the printout, and mail it to the person. This I will do once a week.
Update July 6, 2010:
Here’s the first letter I sent.

That’s a cool idea. Better start on it before the Post Office raises the prices of stamps AGAIN. I was in the Post Office yesterday and I was quite surprised to see the massive size of the Simpsons stamps. It’s pretty cool.
44 cents, 46 cents. It’s still a great deal to send a letter ANYWHERE in the USA for that amount. What do you mean by the massive size of the Siimpsons stamps? They are a normal size.
I sent my first facebook snail mail comment to… TOM SAARISTO! YAY! Take a look at it at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/spudart/4772873880/ —————————– Here’s what it says: Status Message: Tom Saaristo In “Back to the Future”, Doc sets the clock in the DeLorean to a day 25 years in the future. Today is that day (thieved from Jen) Comment: Matt Maldre I wanna go forward to the past! —————————–
Post Office Employees will be thrilled! 😀
Vera, indeed. I’m doing my job as an American to keep our Post Office alive.
That is such a creative idea. 🙂
