We are so accustomed to our 12-month calendar, January, February, March, etc. What if we were to use a calendar based on the full moon? Seeing that there is a full moon tonight, this would be the start of the first month in the new year. Right now we would be in the month of Full Wolf Moon.
So instead of saying, “oh wow, can you believe it’s March already?”, we would say, “oh wow, can you believe it’s Full Worm already?”
Today’s date would be Wolf 1, 2005
Christmas would be Cold 10, 2005
