My first answer is: None. and the location is nowhere.
Actually my answer is: a doodle, inked onto the inside of my hand from a pen. Stays for less than one day. The doodle would be a smiley face. Actually, typically on the tip a finger. Sometimes multiple fingers.
So they can dance
and talk.

RULER TATTOO! I posted about this a few years ago: http://www.unlikelymoose.com/blog/ruler-tattoo-arm// I am sad that my post is only #6 on google for ruler tattoo.
I read this and immediately thought of moose’s ruler tattoo! No tattoos for me
My initals, back of my neck.
funny!
I had this idea that if I got married I’d get the ring tattooed on. Can’t lose it or change my mind that way, heh. But now I’ve changed my mind because the ones I’ve seen don’t look that impressive, and I’ve also heard that they can fade quickly or wear off, especially on the palm side of the hand. Anyway, I think it would be neat to get little tiny symbols that represent important things to me, but I don’t know where I’d want them. Maybe around my wrist, like a charm bracelet? then it could be covered up with a watch or bracelet if necessary. But I still don’t know for sure.
I never thought of someone getting a tattoo on their wrist, so he/she can cover it up with a watch. heh.
Regarding tattoos, I think there ought to be a program that shows someone who gets a tattoo in their 20s exactly what that ink will look like when they’re 50. Or 70. Imagine all the folks in nurisng homes in the year 2080 proudly displaying their individual skin art. Gives new meaning to the punchline, “I don’t know about the one on the left or the one on the right, but the one in the middle looks like Willie Nelson.” As regards using a laser to zap body art, Dr. Bernadine Healy, warns in U.S. News & World Report: Lasering tattoos opens a toxic chemical dump. The laser’s intense heat not only breaks up the ink’s pigment crystals but also triggers chemical reactions that generate a soup of carcinogens and other hazardous chemicals that are absorbed by the body. My own personal opinion: Try temporary tattoos.
Leigh, I’d like to see a photo series of old tattoos. Then again, maybe i don’t. And yeah, people think lasering a tattoo just makes it magically disappear. But c’mon, don’t we all know from cartoons that when you blow something up with a laser, it doesn’t just disappear, it EXPLODES. So people want to make ink EXPLODE inside their own body?
“If found, please return to…” hahaha!
Leigh, Your use of the phrase “soup of carcinogens” makes me think laser tattoo removal might be somewhat dangerous and/or harmful. How does it measure up against smoking? Are the effects equally as harmful? Just curious. P.S. I’ve known a few people who have gotten tattoos removed and it takes SEVERAL sessions before it is entirely gone, and from what I hear, is more painful than the tattoo itself, which sucks.
