On Monday, June 14 Chicago Cub Aramis Ramirez hit a homerun off Houston Astro Roger Clemens. I enjoyed that homerun, because:
1) I started Aramis Ramirez in MLB’s Beat the Streak, so he continued my hitting streak to 3 games
2) Aramis is in my starting lineup in my fantasy league. HR=7 points. Cha-ching!
3) It gave the Cubs an extra run
4) It was against blasted Roger Clemens, while Clemens was trying to extend his undefeated winning streak to 10 games. Yeah, i like to see the Cubs ruin Clemens chances at records. Like when the Cubs prevented him from winning his 300th game while the Yankees where in Wrigley Field. Muhahahaha!
5) The homerun gives the Cubs the lead over the evil Astros who are in the same division as the Cubs.
Five Hoorays!
Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!
Let’s add a sixth hooray. The homerun will help Mark Prior get his first win of the season!
