*running towards the candy corn* I like candy corn, so I’m tempted to keep any that I have [or encourage you to bring yours to ME”>, but I cannot resist this call to action and will be sending a box full of candy corn pumpkins to Big Al!

i like candy corn too, even tho i usually don’t eat it because i dont’ think it’s vegetarian. how DO they make that stuff? i’m a purist. i like the candy corn by itself. don’t add stuff, like the pumpkins.

also, those things tend to get stale fast. if you send them, better make sure they’re tightly wrapped.

I am a food champion, thank you for thinking as much, but one can’t completely discount one’s childhood, the era in which I developed my love of candy corn. I confess, I haven’t had a single candy corn so far this year. I am more likely to spend my time, money and energy eating some really good Sharffen Berger chocolate [the darker, the better”>, but if someone offered me a little celophane package with a few pieces of candy corn, I doubt I would refuse it. As far as being vegetarian, candy corn is pure corn syrup, plain and simple, with a little flavoring and [obviously”> some coloring … The shiny coating may well contain gelatin and we know most gelatin isn’t vegetarian. When I send the candy corn pumpkins, I’ll simply go to Walgreen’s and pick up a fresh package and drop it into a small box and off it goes 🙂
