andy and i think this is really weird
whoa. birth of venus with floating people above her. Then again, this hasn’t been as crazy as some opening ceremonies in the past. COOL. giant balloons with faces on them eerily floating through the stadium. The blue one actually looks like themoon in the sky with the low camera angle.
The people spinning around on that structure… they kinda look like Connect Four dots.

oh man! spinning pyrotechnics firework backbacks! YES! I WANT ONE! OK. NOW IT HAS GOTTEN WEIRD. Some weird dancing dude with a white makeup face just burst through a triangle logo. “The prince charming of italian dance” Right. And super freak of Italy. This represents the paths of Italy, and now he’s stirpping into a mohawk and nudey flesh outfit. ROCK ON! AND DANCING BALLET DANCERS WITH 20 LEGS AND CAMOFLAUGE! YES!

oh crap, the car is out of control! spinning in circles! it just landed in the crowd! oh the chaos! the choas! and now fireworks explode round the stadium! commericial! break to commericial!
so wait, did he just make the olympic rings? was that the point of that?
