Yesterday Spudart.org received its 10,000th comment! Spudart.org leaped over the 10 grand mark with Gary’s comment on the post about Roof Leapers of America. Thank you to all my readers, it just blows my mind that so many people are so kind to leave comments here. This site certainly would not be the same without you. Thank you!
Erik left the 9,999th comment with a bowling team name suggestion of 9,999 Maniacs.
And you wouldn’t be getting all of these comments if it were for the all of the fun content you post almost daily!! Congrats on the big 10k!
yey!!! thats a sweet 10,000 gold certificate. check out the stub thing above the certificate. it says Teehee. TEE HEE
the big ten-triple-o! That’s amazing. What an achievement! 10,000 congrats to you! When did your blog first appear on the internet, spud? About 3 or 4 years ago? I wonder how long it will take for you to get to 20,000. Theoretically, it shouldn’t take nearly as long since you are constantly adding new entries and people can comment on any entry at any time.
My first blog post ever was March 12, 2001 on xanga under the name artdude75. The first blog post on spudart.org was September 28, 2001. I should run a database query to figure out how many comments have been left each year to see where the trend is going.
We are nearing on 15,000 comments on spudart.org! Right now there are 14,912 comments. (Oh wait, this comment will be 14,913).
