When posting a status update on MySpace, there 132 options for what your emotion is. ONE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO! That’s just insane. Even more insane is myspace cramping them all into one drop-down menu that only allows you to view 20 at a time. To make it easier to browse through the emotions, here they all of them in one chart:
| accomplished aggravated amused angry annoyed anxious apathetic artistic awake bitchy blah blank bored bouncy busy calm cheerful chipper cold complacent confused contemplative | content cranky crappy crazy creative crushed curious cynical depressed determined devious dirty disappointed discontent distressed ditzy dorky drained drunk ecstatic embarrassed energetic | enraged enthralled envious exanimate excited exhausted flirty frustrated full geeky giddy giggly gloomy good grateful groggy grumpy guilty happy high hopeful horny | hot hungry hyper impressed indescribable indifferent infuriated intimidated irate irritated jealous jubilant lazy lethargic listless lonely loved melancholy mellow mischievous moody morose | naughty nauseated nerdy nervous nostalgic numb okay optimistic peaceful pensive pessimistic pissedoff pleased predatory productive quixotic recumbent refreshed rejected rejuvenated relaxed relieved | restless rushed sad satisfied scared shocked sick silly sleepy sore stressed surprised sympathetic thankful thirsty thoughtful tired touched uncomfortable weird working worried |

Even with 132, I sometimes can’t find the emotion I want to use that effectively truly describes my emotion.
Spudz – you should organize all 132 of those emotions into categories. Like, you could have one column for happy feelings and one for sad feelings, etc. Tom – Some days I just feel like a dried currant. Teehee!
lisa s, i was totally thinking the same thing. There’s so many different types of emotions though. It would be hard to categorize them all. Is there some sort of official category system for emotions? y’know like the Dewey Decimal system for libraries. There could be the Dew Emotion System.
