How do you quickly sell tickets on Craigslist? Offer a discount for something the buyer must do during the event. Put the discount in the title.
I had four cubs tickets I needed to unload for a game this week. There are so many Cubs tickets on Craigslist, I was afraid of not having my ad stand out. To help move the tickets, I offered a special DISCOUNT. Oh yeah. Who doesn’t love a good discount? To get $10 off, the buyer just needs to record a scorecard and take a photo of it for me. To get $20 off, they give me the actual scorecard.
I don’t think the guys who bought my tickets will keep a scorecard. They were on vacation and seemed like they were not huge baseball fans.

I haven’t heard from the guys who bought the tickets. I guess they aren’t participating in my discount offer. Honestly, I don’t think they even really read my ad, because when I handed them the tickets they asked if they were good seats. It’s like, duh, I wrote in the ad exactly where they were. One row behind -. Hello! I don’t think the buyers would even know how to fill out a scorecard. Buyers, if you read this comment, i would love for you to prove me wrong.
