We have two holes in the front of our head filled with goop. They are for seeing. These holes with goop are called eyes.
We have two holes in the side of our head for hearing. They are called ears.
We have two holes for smelling, but they are called nose (singular). If eyes are plural and ears are plural, nose should be plural too. From now on i’m calling my nose to be noses. I smell the roses with my noses.

NOSTRILS is plural Matt, but the nose is a singular unit. Your HOUSE (singular) has windows (plural) but you dont call it houses
Nostrils? That’s just gross. We don’t call the holes holes in our ears earstrils.
I was just going to explain the “nostrils” thing.. but you beat me to it. 🙂 Maybe he does call his windows “houses”? “I have 2 houses on the wall in my bedroom.”, “It’s really raining outside! Come look out the houses!”
actually, the hole in the ear is the “ear canal” or “auditory canal”.
Did you know that multiple strands of spaghetti are called spaghetti and a single strand is called spaghetto? I learned that while listening to Robert Greenberg’s “How to Listen to and Understand Great Music” series on CD.
“ear canal” “auditory canal” it all means “earstril” A single strand of spaghetti is called a spagehetto? That’s neat. Is a single noses called a noso?
why not SHEEPS and DEERS then!
Sure! Sounds good to me, astro! Like I said earlier… “Everything in plural is better.” –Matt Maldre, 2009
