Discovering that your dad worked on the Tribune Tower

Today via my blog, someone found out that their dad installed the giant broadcasting antennae on the Tribune Tower in the 1930s. My post about the Tribune Tower observation deck included those who inscribed their names on the wall below the antennae.

In the comments, someone said:

Interesting… Fred Menconi was my dad. He was a Chicago iron worker by trade and passed away in 1967.

I’d love to know what other buildings Fred Menconi worked on.
