Dumpster Diving is bad?

Just a few weeks ago, I discovered that “dumpster diving” has a bad connotation. It’s associated with people who pilfer garbage to find financial information. I always thought of dumpster diving as a way of finding art materials. I’m gonna change my online profiles now.

Interesting. I’ve always thought of Dumpster Diving as an activity by young people looking for stuff [I want to say “treasures” after reading Jody’s comment”> that people are too lazy to organize a garage sale for. Hah! In my mind Dumpster Diving doesn’t mean looking for aluminium cans for income, it means looking for useable materials for the home and/or creative projects. The word I have to submit to post this commnent is “art”
