January 7, 2003: It would be easier to hang Christmas ornaments on an upside-down tree, because none of the branches get in the way.

Wow, three years after this conversation and companies are actually now selling upside-down Christmas trees.

Huh? Why wouldn’t the branches get in the way? They are still there? Don’t you WANT the branches to be “in the way” or available…isn’t that where you hang your ornaments?
It would be more trouble to invert the tree and secure it into place than it would be to suffer a few pokes of some soft pine needles in order to decorate your tree.
Where you guys on a sugar rush or something? 😉
Can I purchase an up-side down Xmas tree? How can you turn an artificial tree into an up-side down tree? Thanks, Jan
uhhh, hang it from the ceiling?? <<idea courtesy of ceferino grima>>
yeah, just drill some holes into your ceiling, get some good sized bolts and drill that sucker in.
whatever you do, DON’T just put up a normal christmas tree and try shaving it down so it looks upside down, you’ll just end up with a big stick tree: https://www.spudart.org/blogs/randomthoughts_comments/A112_0_3_0_C/
check this out, this dude actually has REAL instructions on how to make an inverted christmas tree. http://www.nfobase.com/html/inverted_xmas_tree.html
yeah ok y r you lot actualy talkingabout a upside down tree???
think its stupid?? It is all the rage over here. You cant by one anywhere around here. EVERYONE wants one. 🙂
oh yeah, they are so hot here too that I can’t find any at the stores! *giggle*
What next, Mistle Toe on the Floor? Everyone I’ve talked to thinks it stupid! The posted comments mention that some of you want one because everyone else has one. If they all jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge, would you follow them too!
