Spudart is becoming be more and more about art. A friend recently told me when she first visited spudart, she was expecting art and not all these random ideas. In the past year I’ve been trying to make more art posts.
With that art-focused strategy, I’m also going to make my twitter account @spudart to be more art focused. Where my general life stuff will be going on @mattmaldre.
Think of @mattmaldre as my new main twitter account where @spudart is just for art and creative ideas.
But… aren’t your random ideas a form of art?!
Yeah, they are sparx. To me, they are. But I’m thinking of how to make more focused blogs and websites. This year I’ve been much more productive with my artwork, and so I’ve had more material to blog about. I’d like to continue that focus on my artwork and to be blogging about the art more. Now, the question is what will I do with the random ideas. I’ve been posting a bunch to twitter. I don’t know if i want to do a separate website. Sometimes I feel like I should just merge the @mattmaldre and @spudart into one. But I think it will be good for me to make @spudart more focused on art specifically.

that’s a cool idea. I like having separate accounts for different purposes … it’s fun to pick the account that matches your mood or what you want to read/talk about.
