Take a look at the results for musicians tagged Estonian on last.fm and you’ll get quite an interesting combo for the first two results. Girl band Vanilla Ninja appears right next to sacred minimialist Arvo Pärt. Even the very photos of both are so contrasting.
I’d love to see these two get together and make some music. Long live Estonia!

Vanilla Ninja still rocks the Estonian music scene, eh? I came across them a few years ago. You came across such a great example of extremes comparing Arvo and VanNin. Worlds apart. I really can’t see in any shape or form how the two would be able to co-exisit. So it would be interesting to see what would happen if they made music together. I’d say Arvo would win. The only thing that VanNin could do is lend some houling vocals in the background. I don’t see Arvo changing his style at all.
