Maybe your car desire might reveal your inner desire. Alex Garcia writes:
If I felt a deep need for sheer power, I’d be all over the bulky 4X4 trucks. A desire to be validated as a cool cat? Maybe a sloping Porsche. A need to be perceived as a smart and practical person? Maybe a Honda.
I guess I don’t desire to be another person, because I don’t desire to own a car. Then again, I do enjoy buying Hot Wheels, so maybe I want to be a kid.

I don’t have any desire to own a car either and hope I live in places where a car is not required. If I had to get a car though, it would be a “vintage” wood panel Jeep Wagoneer in white.
Tom, I often dream of what it would be like to live in a city where there are no cars. That dream came a little bit true on the day after the blizzard this year.
I already suggested to Rham that Michigan Avenue and State Street become pedestrian malls wherein no personal automobile would be allowed. I also suggested heated sidewalks to get down on accidents and weather-related deaths 😀
I want to be the type of person who is free, who lives life to it’s fullest. Someone who makes a PASSIVE income stream to allow exploration of a moderately adventurous life. This working 6 days a week and only having one day off system is for the birds. As for cars… I currently drive a minivan and hope to one day have a ’79 El Camino.
I don’t own a car, nor know how to drive one. I would love a Vespa, one day, if I happen to be living in Italy or California… :p
I often fantasize that my Honda Odyssey is a Star Destroyer from Star Wars. So I guess my car desire is to have a Star Destroyer. I don’t know what that says about me as a person.
Brad, you should get a jet pack before you get a 79 El Camino. Fruzs, I’d like a Vespa too! Moose, are you a stormtrooper?
