Let’s say you are sitting at home and you buy an mp3 off the iTunes music store. Then you go into work and you want to listen to that same mp3. It would be nice if you could pull up your purchased list and then redownload YOUR music again. But how the system currently works, when you pull up previous purchases, it only shows them as a list, no redownloads available.
Apple, I BOUGHT this music, I want it to be able to download it at home AND work, pleeeeeeeease.

I absolutely agree with you! It is our right after paying to be able to get the music wherever and whenever we want to.
I don’t know how they did it, but at my former company IT put iTunes on everyones computers and we could all access our iTunes libraries that existed on our home computers.
If your home computer is on while you’re at work, you could use something like http://www.simplifymedia.com/ to do it. There are other software options that would work in that situation, but this one looks the most painless. (Never used it though, it might suck.)
Just sync your iPod at work. When you get home, iTunes will grab the files from your iPod (at least in theory). Anyways, you shouldn’t be buying music from iTunes because the compression is inferior. Amazon mp3’s FTW!
iPod! I don’t own no iPod! I used to, but it “disappeared.” Instead, i just burned the files onto a cd and loaded em up manually. I like your tip on the Amazon mp3s, i’m gonna go that route next time!
