Upon pouring the beverage out, we were quite surprised to see the color of the liquid was red. Quite appropriate for the holidays. However, someone screamed and ran away with his hands up in the air. uh, ok.
After a few moments of declaring that we couldn’t really taste anything, we discovered that despite this being a Pepsi product, the taste is surprisingly similar to Coca-Cola. Holiday Spice Pepsi’s flavor was much less sweet than regular Pepsi. But it also seemed to have a tinge of Sprite mixed with Coca-Cola. Not 7UP. But Sprite.
There you have it. Holiday Spice Pepsi is Coca-Cola with some Sprite mixed in.
What does it taste like for you?

I’m not sure I can give you my thoughts. I don’t drink soda that has sugar in it. I had a Chai Tea Latte yesterday for the first time after a co-worker insisted that it “tastes like Christmas”. It was pure sugar and I could feel it coursing through my veins and my heart began beating really Really fast. Having said that, if Holiday Spice comes out in a diet version, in a can, and it’s really cold, I’ll give it a try and report back here ;^)
i don’t drink sugared pop either – for dental reasons. but i think the name of the product is slightly odd. “spice”? that makes me think of black pepper, or oregano. not something i’d want in my pop. chais are good, but yes, quite sweet! they do taste like Christmas! they are a special-occasion drink for me only now. i supposed i’d try Holiday Spice, if i got a free sample.
That’s curious, when I think of “Holiday Spice” I think cinnamon, ginger, all spice, mace, etc.
Well, given the context of spice with drink, yeah i think of something like cinnamon or something. But it’s fun to know people who are spicy! Spicy people are fascinatingly fun people to be with.
after hanging out with spicy people, do you have to drink a lot of water to cool down? what do spicy people look like? do they wear red? do flames shoot out of their ears?
saw the commercial for this today.
was it full of holiday joy?
I saw it too, but can’t really recall if it was fullof holiday joy. One thing is for sure, this entry on Pepsi Holiday Spice is more interesting.
i seem to remember elves. and the assurance that Pepsi Holiday Joy would only be around for a limited time. the commercial called it “a combination of Pepsi and Holiday Spice.” isn’t that self-evident?
oh my god, you’ve gotta see this! i first heard of this stuff on your site, and now this: http://pepsispice.blogspot.com/ scary! i’m not going anywhere near that stuff. i’m sure that regular pepsi or coke would do the same thing, but the red coloring in the ‘spice’ makes for some interesting health nightmares.
