Funny how back in the day there were all those hats and shirts that said 01.20.09 in anticipation of Bush’s last day in office. It’s amazing how Obama was able to take control of 01.20.09 and outshine the fact that bush is gone. Now instead of 1.20.09 being the day of Bush leaving, it’s actually more about the day of Obama’s arrival.
What do you think is the bigger story of 01.20.09? Bush’s departure or Obama’s arrival?

“where”, not “what” pwn3d!
what paper was that, tom?
Wow the ads on blog posts are getting interesting. There’s this super cool obama banner ad. I’m gonna take a screenshot.
The paper in question was Atlanta’s Journal Constitution

you probably can’t say t e x a s h o l d e m !! I think it was more about Obama’s arrival! I believe he is one of the great men of history… or he has the potential to be 😀
t h e w o r d y o u a r e n o t a l l o w e d t o s a y i s T E X A S. And yes, Sarah, you are correct, it is because of T e x a s Hold’em comment spammers. I’m very happy that the day was more about Obama’s arrival than Bush’s departure. Can you imagine if it wasn’t Obama coming in? Instead if it was some bland democrat, and then people focused more on the departure of Bush. That would have been very negative. I’m glad that not only is Bush out, but that the country has hope in its new leader. Pessimism can run rampant, and if the day was about Bush’s departure, then that pessimism would easily continue onward. Obama squashed that for now.
