Anyone willing to sell their old digital camera?

I’m looking for a simple, cheap digital camera to take videos. Most older digital cameras are able to take short little digital videos. I used to have a Canon Digital Elph S110 that was a 2 megapixel camera that could take videos. But it was stolen from from a car that was in a car repair shop.

I was looking at the videos I shot and uploaded onto YouTube: www.youtube.com/user/spudart and was remembering how much fun they were to shoot. So now I need a simple camera to always carry around in my bag.

I’m looking to spend no more than like $30 on a small (nothing too bulky), old, used digital camera. So if you have one that’s not being used in some drawer somewhere, I would greatly appreciate if you are willing to part with it. Just let me know the model number and I’ll do the research to see if it can take video. Either drop a line in the comments. Or contact me at www.spudart.org/blogs/contact. Thank you very much!

eBay Check eBay. You may even be able to find a new camera that is in the price range you are seeking.

i have an old Sony DSC-P5 you can use for free. It’s a 3.2 megapixel camera I bought in 2001. The only problem is that the battery is near dead. When the battery is fully charged it will last for about 5-10 minutes. Its dimensions are 4.4″ wide x 2.1″ tall x 1.4″ thick. Can you believe that I paid $500 for it? It was an awesome camera in 2001. The movie capabilities aren’t all that impressive: MPEG HQ – 320 x 240, 16 fps, max 15 seconds (inc. audio) MPEG EX – 320 x 240, 8 fps, limited only by storage space (inc. audio) MPEG EX – 160 x 112, 8 fps, limited only by storage space (inc. audio) full specs of the camera here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscp5/page2.asp

I don’t think people should hesitate mentioning if they have a camera they’d like to sell to Matt (spudart). The movie capabilities on my Sony DSC-P5 mentioned earlier aren’t that great.

and the battery on my DSC-P5 is terrible. Last I checked a replacement battery costs $65.

Sorry, no old camera to sell. But I did have an S110… was my first digital camera! Sold it to a friend a few years ago for $100. My S40 is dead and won’t turn on for some reason. Right now, I have a Panasonic Lumix FX-01 for a PNS. Best of luck with your search! Bum deal about the S110 getting stolen… can’t imagine why anyone would want to steal that thing, though.

I have an Olympus C 3020 3.2 mega pixel camera that I would like to unload. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and it does take up to 60 sec videos. I would include the factory 16 mb card, a extra 128 mb card, and a universal caring case. I’ll look around for the USB cable but I have been using card readers for so long I don’t know where it is. Looking for $50 for the package deal.
