mine was fun. it’s always fun to vote. i like punching holes in things. Seriously, even if i was asked to show up at my local church’s gym just to punch holes in a card, i would.

11:41am it’s tied 0-0 right now. wow, they were right. This is a close race!
I voted!! The internet said my polling place opened at 6AM, but when I got there I learned that they were open from 5AM – 7PM. We also had two precincts reporting at the one location. I was surprised by how many people were there so early! The prediction is 80% of voters will vote today!
here’s some thoughts on voting… the ballots should ask people what their stance is on ALL the issues, SPECIFICALLY. https://www.spudart.org/blogs/randomthoughts_comments/A153_0_3_0_C/
4:50pm it’s still tied. 0-0.
voting is fun. it sort of reminds me of taking iowa tests, when you had to fill in the bubbles with a number 2 pencil, that was fun too.
i live in a people-concentrated neighborhood, so there were several precincts at my polling place [a school”>. no line at 8:30am for my particular precinct, but others at my polling place did have long lines.
i [in chicago”> had the punch card, but my dad [in elmhurst”> had the fill-in-the-circle card.
voting is fun! i was floating on a little cloud after i voted. i wanted to go back and do it again! participating in democracy is a natural high.
there’s a dude that has links to the 107 chicago blogs that posted about the election. crazy. http://chicago.metblogs.com/archives/2004/11/chicago_blogs_i.phtml and i’m listed too! hooray!
