Awhile ago I posted about if you can mail a crumbled sheet of paper through the postal mail.

They have all arrived on the same day, just a few days after I dropped them in the mail (It just took me awhile to finally post pictures on my site here). Check out this image to see how they came:

The extremely crumbled sheet of paper came in a special “We Care” U.S. Postal envelope. Apparently they thought they damaged my letter, so they put it in an envelope explaining that it was “inadvertently damaged in handling by your Postal Service.” *giggle*
The other two letters arrived safe and sound.
I would imagine that the postal worker who found your letters realized that they were put in the mail that way and that the postal system had nothing to do with the “damage”. They probably have only the “We Care” style of envelope for sending “damaged” mail through. If they had others yours might have read “People Are Playin” :^D
ha!
Oh yeah, yer right Tom. The are just using that envelope by default.
A default envelope.. Kinda like the default smile they give when you go into the post office.. Or the one that they are suppose to give.
Spud, you’re hilarious! I just found this site today in a real roundabout sort of way…oddly enough it started with a link mentioned in Dynamic Graphics Magazine: http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards (sooo gross and funny!) That chick’s blog, poundy.com, links to your page. It’s been nonstop laughs ever since!!!
sorry, the link is this: http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards.html
Every year I send custom christmas cards. I send a couple to myself for my archives. I avoid using traditional envelopes. There have been a couple years that I have received my cards in that “We Care” USPS envelope because they beat up the card pretty bad.
Your 2004 card arrived safe and sound at my place, Erik
that’s fantastic…
