Does anyone out there use Macintosh’s iCal program?
Or even one of the following
• .ics format
• Thunderbird
• Firefox Calendar
• Mozilla Calendar
I’m thinking of publishing a bunch of calendars with the ics format, but wanted to make sure it was worth my time. If you don’t use any of these, what sort of calendar system(s) do you use? Please reply using the comments. Thank you.
i use ical, and i do have a few calendars that i subscribe to. the top two are the empty bottle and the bottom lounge calendars that my boyfriend publishes. http://introvert.net/ical/ there are also a ton more to be had at: http://icalshare.com/ what kinds of calendars are you thinking of publishing?
Oh just a bunch of chicago calendars. Summerdance, Movies in the Park, etc.
I use iCal, but I didn’t like that when I subscribed to the Apple Store Ala Moana calendar, it put all their (pretty much daily) class offerings on my calendar and, thus, my Palm Pilot, which made it seem like I had a million things to do. So I basically just put my own stuff in there.
I use iCal and Mozilla Calendar. Love the subscription feature and as a Chicagoan I’d love to see some more local calendars. Let me know if you want some help!
