The sunlight hit just the red part of the tree blowing on the fire to give the blaze more life. The colors were saturated even more by the HDR photography of the ProHDR app on my iPhone. Originally I was sending the photo to flickr without the words, but the feel was rather empty. Adding the red words to the sky helped fan that fire all the more.
Having the extra sky for the words was helpful for the layout. The extra sky at the top was originally unintentional as I was just trying to not photograph the ugly cars below.
The Over app provides such fantastic fonts. Thanks Over app! Thanks stupid cars! Thanks HDR app! Thanks beautiful tree! Thanks nice sky! And thanks Steve Tanner for IM’ing me a compliment about this photo on flickr which inspired me to write this blog post.

Oh and thanks to the white metal fence across the street from this tree. It provided me with a nice sturdy surface to prop my iPhone against, so I could take a steady HDR shot. This is the same fence:http://www.flickr.com/photos/spudart/3315010679/
Thanks Sarah Renee. I should make a collection of all my photos with personification captions.
I love the personification in the first line of this post. 🙂 Beautiful shot! (And yes, great font choice- Over app…hmmm…I’ll have to look into that.)
