$499computer? no. it’s a good thing that my inkjet printer can now print on toilet paper so I can print out your prediction and have some use for the paper. (I actually stole that slam from another website. They were slamming http://www.thinksecret.com for daring to predict that apple would actually come out with a sub-$500 computer.) Tomorrow’s unveiling is no longer veiled. Apparently there has been some dude hanging out in front of the Moscone Center in SF (I’ve been there!) and took some photos of the MacWorld people preparing a banner. It is a new iPod without the screen. The banners say, Life is Random”. (Random meaning that this iPod plays songs randomly because you can’t see a playlist.) I guess they had to Photoshop out the iPod photo on the banner to avoid getting sued by Apple. Here’s the link: “http://www.macitynet.it/english/aA20182/
