Hmmm, if you could travel back in time, but could only bring one thing, what would it be? I’m looking out my window at a row of buses, and it would be fun to have a bus back in time. But then you’d need gas for the bus. That’s part of the irony of it. You bring something hi-tech back, but then you’d have nothing to fix it.
10″ chef’s knife 😉
What a CUTTING choice! But didn’t they have knives back then?
Probably, but the knives they had in the past weren’t nearly as good as what we can procure today.
I think they were called swords and daggers! I would take a case of Red Bull.
and what would you bring to the future?
i’d bring a bike back in time. you don’t need gas or anything to run it. and you could get places with it.
it would also depend how FAR back in time you went. like if i went back one week in time, i would bring my keys with me, so that i could get back into my apartment. if i went back to the Middle Ages, i’d bring some vaccinations so that i wouldn’t catch the Plague. if i went back 100 years or so, i’d bring my digital camera, so that i could take cool pictures of stuff in progress, like the Columbian World’s Fair held in Chicago in 1893 [of course, charging batteries would pose a logistical problem”>. if i went back to prehistoric times, i’d bring a flashlight [but again, the battery problem”>. hmm, i think again a bike would be quite a handy thing to have for almost any time period – it’s very adaptable.
Id bring back the beatles
i’d bring a big pile of blue jeans and sell them for a big pile of gold.
i would take Prilosec.
