Although there is something about the bright intense colors of Mah Na Mah Na Muppets, and the bright intense colors of Tron. The Muppets skit is performed in a vague open landscape. Tron’s scenery is a vast landscape with soaring open lands.

Perhaps in Tron 3, the Muppets could appear around the corner. Both Tron and the Muppets are owned by Disney—so it’s possible.
Disney already did a a couple Muppet-Tron crossovers
According to the Muppet Wiki:
Pepe the King Prawn appears in a parody poster called PRAWN, which began appearing at the queuing area of Disney World’s Muppet*Vision 3D in June 2016. The tagline reads “We’re All Just Prawns In His Games.”

In Muppet Babies (2018)-S02E09, Dr Bunsen Honeydew and “Beaker 2.0” ride tripped-out tricycles on a Tron-like grid while singing the song, “It’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship”

The blue color of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew is straightforward. Blue is used for the good guys in Tron. However, notice how Beaker’s cycle has a yellow color. The yellow circuitry color in Tron is used by Clu.
The yellow Clu is a hero in Tron 1
The yellow Clu is a villain in Tron 2.
What does that mean for Beaker 2.0 who rides the yellow tricycle?
In Tron, the color is indicative of its maker. In both Tron movies, Flynn is the creator of Clu 1 and 2. That is why Clu is yellow. In this Muppet Babies episode, Beaker 2.0 is created by Dr. Honeydew.
Man. Whomever picked the yellow color for Beaker here was pretty spot on with Tron’s code.
