POEM: Walking in the snow of the cosmos

Slushie snow and boots

OH HOW I LOVE WALKING IN THE SNOW!

The cashier at Walgreens doesn’t think so,
“All that cold makes me wanna die, y’know?”
I encouraged her, “you need some good boots to go.
They empower you to be oh so bravo!”

She replies with “Honey, you’d have to be psycho
to be tramping round when it’s below zero.”
I hopped up-n-down, “But imagine you’re walking to and fro
on another planet like Mars or Pluto!”

She replies with silent eyebrows all furrow
So away to Jupiter’s snow I go.

well I have to agree with the cashier that it’s a bit cold to be out playing spaceman, but you have fun 🙂
