Public Broadcasting Cooperative of Illinois logo

PBCI (The Public Broadcasting Cooperative of Illinois) was formed to make it easy for advertisers or underwriters to work with multiple public radio and/or television stations in Illinois. Until now, to reach a statewide audience via more than 20 public broadcasting stations required more than 20 phone calls, more than 20 rate cards and more than 20 announcements to prepare and place.

This logo features the state of Illinois to show that its range covers the entire state. The air waves coming off the dot in the “i” are like the broadcast waves of radio, yet they also symbolize unity amoung all the stations. And the airwaves are a graphic element that gets repeated on all stationary and collateral material.
