Whenever you computer starts acting strange, check to see if any of your keys on your keyboard are stuck.
Just now I thought that my computer was wiggin out. In Quark i could only get the hand tool. In all my other programs, I couldn’t use the keyboard to quit. When I rebooted, right at the beginning startup screen, I got this weird icon to choose the hard drive or another drive, so I chose the hard drive. And then my computer booted up and I STILL got the hand tool in Quark.
Then i realized the option key on my keyboard was stuck. bawhawhaw! That’s why I got that weird message at bootup, when you hold down option at startup, it asks you what drive to use.

The “check to see if any of your keys on your keyboard are stuck” is good advice, but I think you might want to go one step up. I think the real advice should be “don’t eat donuts and cheetos while you’re using your computer, or you might have to check to see if any of your keys on your keyboard are stuck”
I got a donut at the Dunkin’ Donuts at the Western brown line stop after the downpour yesterday. It was stale. I should have known better than to buy a donut at 8pm. Donuts are so good. I like to eat donuts. Specifically chocolate glazed donuts.
whaaaaaaaaaat aaaaaaaaaaare you taaaaaaaaalking aaaaaaaaabout?
wouldn’t it be great if you could type in some command line code and a chocolate glazed donut would come out of your computer. Man, someone needs to invent that.
I’d like to have a conveyor belt of donuts constantly rotating around the office.
