Ever notice the ID number in a tweet’s URL?

Take a look at the URL structure for a tweet. Here’s a tweet I made today: https://twitter.com/spudart/status/1237129038994575360

Every tweet is assigned a unique ID number. Over time, this ID number increases sequentially. The first four digits of this example tweet today is 1237! Just a bit over 1234.

At some point, someone’s tweet got the ID number 1234567890987654321. Another tweet would have gotten the ID 1234567890123456789. But which tweets got these super-cool number? Sadly, I cannot find the exact tweet with those ID numbers.

By my estimation, these IDs occurred at some point on March 2, 2020.
