That is a fascinating quandry…
It’s a modern day chicken & egg conundrum!
clearly the cup was designed first, could you even imagine someone designing a product to match a logo. that’s absurd.
But we ARE talking about Dunkin Donuts here. DD turns the world upside-down with innovation.
They do!? Give me an example
Here is how Dunkin Donuts is innovative: Eat What you Want When you WantTM Each of our brands is an independently successful trademark with a passionate and loyal customer following. More importantly, each brand appeals to a different time of day. This means that our brands, rather than competing with each other, work together to offer great value and great food to their customers. Our complementary daypart branding strategy combines the strength of our brands by housing two or three in a single storefront, completely redefining the quick service experience for our customers. Complementary daypart branding is one example of the INNOVATION that has made us one of America’s best and most loved quick service restaurants. http://www.adqsr.com/ourbrands/ourbrands.html however, Dunkin Donuts has also been described as a “cancerous implant.”
Oh, so says Dunkin Donuts…I see [raised eyebrow”> I don’t know that I would classify “Complementary daypart branding” as a component that is turning the world upside down. Maybe selling coffee for a fair price would be an example of innovation, or using pink and orange in their decades-old logo…What was the original question? ;^”>~
I wish I looked good in a maroon shirt (I tried it, I don’t)
I was born in a maroon shirt, and therefore won’t wear one ever again.
they put a krispey kreme next to a dunkin donuts in lombard. now the only car i ever see in front of the dd is a police car (true story). My wife feels sorry for dd. I say tough 5hit. dd needs to make pillowy donuts that melt in your mouth.
